Taylor Momsen was born in Saint. Louis in Missouri. She is an American singer/songwriter/model/actress. She is best known for her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the main singer in the band The Pretty Reckless. The music of Momsen has appeared in TV and films like How to Be Single Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on July 26 1993. she has a younger sister Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. She studied dance in the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. In the Shake 'n Bake national advertisement at the time, momsen was the first to act professionally when she was three. Momsen's acting career came to a stop for more than three years until she received an acting role as the lead in the WB series Misconceptions. Also at this time Momsen made an appearance in the film Saving Shiloh. The audition she gave for Hannah Montana was top 3. Miley gained the role.
